So what does it feel like, you ask?  Well, imagine taking a breath, and every time you do it feels like SOMEONE (Not all of you think OJ is guilty) is stabbing you in the back.  On every breath.  And you have a headache and are always tired.  Yes, it blows.

Anyway, I am going stir-crazy in here.  Its just me…. all day…. for the last 4 days.  While I suppose I should be enjoying lazying around, I dont like all my PTO being wasted.  Sucks.  Kills my vacation options.  I have come to realize in this time that TV sucks now.  There isnt a whole lot of stimulating stuff going on.

So anyway, I am sitting here working on a plan for the weekend.  I suppose I should have thought of something in advance, but whatever.  Itd be cool to have the bank to go hop on a plane and go somewhere.  Hmm… I guess I could technically.  But do I want to blow the cash?  Naw.

Ok, so I checked anyway, and to go to Seattle (never been), it would be over 600 and a shitload of flying… which isnt bad I guess, but still. Its a holiday weekend…do I want to do that to myself.

Anyway, I just looked at some place to skydive in the bay area.  What is it lately that I want to do crazy shit?

You know whats funny?  LOL.  No, literally.  At work, I realized that 90 percent of the time, I put LOL…. but Im not laughing.  Or hahahaha…. yea, Im still not laughing.

So far my new camera is kick-ass.  Ive taken some awesome shots with it, and its more fun that I even expected it to be.  I dunno, something about snagging a great shot that is super gratifying.  Like building something.  Like building memories……. wow ok that was pretty lame right there hahahahah (still not really laughing)

Last night, we had softball championships.  We played in the 2nd of 3 games and the winner of the first game was to play the winner of our game in the championships.  We didnt play in the 3rd game.  Yea…. sucks….  The other team was like brand new… never seen them before.  Wringers!  Freakin stupid-ass league should be carding people!  It was bullshit.  But I turned a mean double play.  Yea, it was badass.  What sucked about the night was that we all anticipated playing two games, so at the end of the first and final, we weren’t sure what to do.  So everyone went home.  Its ok though, we are bbqing in La Honda today, so fret not my loyal readers!  Jon will have beer today!

Anyway, its going to fill up fast because Im taking lots of pics of different stuff.  But thats not the point Im going for.  My point is that I have so many accounts for different stuff, that I am going insane.  I have two different passwords for my stuff at work, not to mention the passwords to log on to financial institution websites.  Then there’s Facebook, MySpace, Photobucket, AOL/AIM, Flickr, and my computer itself.  Passwords up the yin yang!  Passwords for bills too!

Ok, so off topic… ive been lazy.  Yes, my room is a mess and I still have stuff to unpack.  Fortunately its in the closet so our place isnt too messy.  But we also have a shizzload of boxes that we unpacked and now have stacked in the living room.  More mess.  Moving blows.

So I was going to blog about LA, but I decided Ill just tell people in person.  Its easier.  I hate writing essays.  Speaking of which….

….you know what blows?  The whole process of dating.  Its like a big freakin game.  Thats why I dont do much of it.  You have to start a conversation, find common topics, sell yourself as “A GOOD CHOICE”…. ugh, so exhausting.  So, to make sense of my segway (spelling?), dating is a lot like writing an essay.  You work your ass off, all the while trying to compile all this info into a clear and concise piece of information all at once while at the same time being totally confused, and whether or not its good or not depends on the reader.  See what I mean?  Total parallel!  Now, for those of you that know me, you know that Im a math and science guy.  If dating were like programming, it would be simple, zeros and ones.  Yes or no.  None of this “wait as to not come on too strong, but act so that you dont come off as not confident.”  WTF?!  Its a freakin annoying game!  A game I dislike more than selling stuff.  And I hate selling stuff.  Especially myself.  Basically, I think it should be simple:

Now, I know what you are thinking:  Knight Rider is the greatest show in the world.  But you need to focus on what im saying right now, and we can watch Knight Rider later.  Dating blows.  Being single is cool for some people, but those people enjoy the game.  Not this guy.  Its a big pain in the ass that feels a hell of a lot like a job interview, and those blow.  So yea, my point is… its annoying.  Why the rant?  Because I can.  And it wont be the last!  Ok Im done fools.

I just about passed out at work today.  I was beat. Which reminds me that I need to get to bed soon!  Ill blog more later!

I headed to my mom’s casa in Manteca Friday night to knock out some laundry and pick up my work boots.  I ended up going to her softball game Saturday morning, where I got recruited to umpire.  It was fun, but then they decided to play with the rules a little bit, which got a little confusing.  My mom did good.  She made contact with the ball at every at-bat.  Some of those retirees are hardcore!

Anyway, I left for LA at 1040 and got down at around 3.  I had some time to kill before heading to Chris and April’s, so I did a little LA tour.  Its weird, I still remember my way around and which streets to take.  I headed in to Hollywood via Barham (behind Universal) and didnt realize that the Hollywood Bowl had a show tonight…. freakin load of traffic!  So I took a backstreet and bypassed that over to check out Roscoes.  I didnt stop, but I like driving by.  From Roscoes you can see the Hollywood sign, so I snagged a pic while I was driving.  At this point I cussed out about 4 people so far.  And  I think either Patrick Dempsey or his twin cut me off.  Looked like him.  Mc-something-or-other.  At that point, I headed to North Hollywood to check out the Scrubs filming set.  Apparently its gone.  That was a shock, and it pissed me off since I drove out there.  At that point, I headed to Burbank.  

The twins are huge!  And they talk so much!  Its crazy how much they have changed!  It was really great to see them and Chris and April.  The boys have so much energy.  Im pretty sure they remember me.  It sucks that Im missing out on them growing up now, but its cool that I get to see them when I do.  I remember when they were tiny.  It was cool to catch up too.  Chris’ band is having a show in July so Im going to make it down for that I hope.  We hung out, had Zankou Chicken (killer restaurant, its been a year since I had it!), had some long island iced teas, watched some TV and caught up.  It was great to see them all.

Well, its been a long day.  Im now at Casa de Fenner and am about to go to sleep.  Its weird being down here.  Sometimes it feels like I didnt leave.  Weird!  It feels like a whole different life when I lived here.  And that was only a year and a few months ago that I moved.

I figured Id check some email, facebook, this thing…. anywho, here I am.

I just got back from hanging out in San Mateo.  I went and saw UP  in 3D with a friend of mine.  That movie was freakin cool!  Some hilarious parts in that thing!  And the 3D was definitely the way to go!!!  Anyway, after that was deep dish at Windy City, followed by goofing around in downtown SM, followed by pie!  I havent had pie in awhile, so it was good!  Im still full though…. ugh!  I need to start eating healthy again.  

I had originally planned to watch Wipeout on tv while commentating online with Bryn…. Bryn, i’m sorry for cutting out on our online date!  I didn’t know id be out so long!

Wow, I had like 32 views yesterday!  Hmm…. I dont think they are all me, but I dunno.

Ok ok, so today I was freakin’ draggin’ ass at work.  And then it hit me:  Lately Ive been really super irritated in general.  I think im just really bored.  And not happy in general.  I dont feel mentally stimulated in the right way. I mean, my work can be tough, but not fun-tough.  Then a buddy of mine told me he was giving his two weeks notice and leaving the company.  He is going to go back to school.  That kind of hit me.  I realized that if other people could do it, then so could I.  I know I want to do something technical in engineering or computers, so I should look into taking classes down that line.  But as for now, I need to figure out the specifics.  I dunno, we’ll see.  Im not leaving my job, but down the line, I want options.  

Dad came over the bridge today, and the three of us happened upon a Greek restaurant in a Lucky’s shopping center near our place.  It was ok.  The appetizer dips were good, but the entrees were weak.  And their baklava had good flavor, but it lacked in syrup and layers.  Only one layer of nuts…. weak!  But it was tasty.  I may experiment with mine.  Maybe put a little less syrup.  We will see.  

Well, I need to exercise.  Yes, need to get something in.  Been sitting around too much!

Moving sucks.  Not only do you need to set up utilities and change addresses, but you have to, well, move.  Everything.  All your crap.  The funny part is that the small stuff is the crappy stuff to move.  The big stuff is easy!  People complain, “Man, that TV is gonna suck to move.”  No!  Whats gonna suck to move is the shitload of DVDs and video games, cables, components, remotes and stand that make the “TV” what you consider to be the “TV”.  And all the little stuff always has a use down the line.  If you throw it away today, you will need it tomorrow… after the garbage truck showed up. 

Im getting frustrated at this point though.  I have space now in this new place, but Im rapidly filling it with stuff.  I wanted to finally be uncluttered, but it seems like im still cluttered.  Maybe its because Ive slacked on organizing this place.  I dunno.  But I think I need to just start throwing stuff that I dont use away and make due without it.  We will see I suppose.

Today, I definitely had a case of the “Monday’s.”  I was pretty exhausted from the fun weekend I had, and plus I was having a “What is the freakin point?” kind of day at work.  I really need to work on figuring out my passion so I can go after it.  I am tired of feeling like Im in a constant state of limbo, waiting for my calling.  I want to be content for a change.  At this point, I dont feel like I am anywhere near where I want to be, even though I dont really know where that is.  

Speaking of where I want to be, Im still missing the east bay.  Parts at least.  I drove through CV today and didnt miss that as much as I thought.  I love the tri-valley.  We will see how it is out here on the peninsula.  Itll take some getting used to I suppose, but it doesnt feel like me.  Of course, I think if I were content in general, it wouldnt matter where I was.  Wow… Im getting deep!  Either way, Pleasanton or San Ramon would be cool.  Finding my passion and doing that for money would be ideal.
